Summer Virtual Workshops

July 29th & 30th 10am-12pm via Zoom

COST: $85 OR  $155 for June and July

ALL payments and registrations will be due by June 11th for June session.  
ALL payments and registration will be due by July 15th for July session. 
  *A special STEM challenge kit will be sent to you before the July session. In order to ensure a timely delivery before the workshop, register by July 15th.

*FREE 30 minute follow up one-on-one scheduled at a later time with Jessi and/or Roni 

*CANCELLATION Notice: Full refunds will be issued for cancellations greater than 14 days from the start of the course and are subject to a $50 processing charge. For cancellations 7 days or less from the start of the course, no refunds will be issued or changes allowed.  BILLING Notice: If payments are not received within four days of billing, [re]Design(ing): Art Education reserves the right to remove your spot from the workshop and offer to another participant. A reminder will be sent on day 3.

Kindness & Creativity 101:  Setting You Up for Success
Nine week scope & sequence will be explored. 
Kick-off our 2 days workshop with building classroom community! Kindness Foundation: Essential skills and knowledge to build, foster, and retain a supportive learning environment. We will cover topics that include social and emotional (SEL) strategies promoting integrity in the classroom. Let’s do hands-on projects to begin the year that integrate kindness with your individual communities. Let us show you how we continuously foster a classroom culture of compassion and understanding. Teachers will gain insight into ideation tools using the Kindness Foundation. Sharing resources for students from our collective beehive minds we will emphasize trust and collaboration to cultivate a creative student mindset in the classroom.

Innovation & Transformation 101: Student Voice through Design Thinking, STEM & Choice
Innovation is applying creativity toward your goals: Emphasis will be placed on how to effectively implement STEM and Design Thinking methodologies with purpose, empowering educators to engage and inspire their students in innovative ways.  

Transformation : On this concluding day, teachers will reflect, explore, and share their transformative insights. In 30 minutes we will create THE IMMEDIATE LESSON PLAN; A collaborative lesson inspired by our time together and collective knowledge. Begin your year with this in your pocket with confidence that it was created with community and emergent minds. Nine week scope & sequence will be explored.
